Greetings.
I am posting an old homily from this past Fourth Sunday of Easter, Year C. Please click on the title "Testing my own podcast with an old homily" above. It will open a window from box.net that will allow you to play the mp3 file.
If you wish to download the mp3 file, right-click anywhere on the mp3 icon, the "Play" button , or the mp3 title in the box.net window. A short menu will open; click on "Download Document." A new dialogue box will open asking you if you wish to open or save the file.
I am working on accessibility in iTunes and Podcast Alley. I have submitted the latest podcast to iTunes. I can't be sure yet that the tags will work correctly. Podcast Alley has turned out to be even more complicated.
I would be interested in your comments on sound quality for this recording. Thank you.

Some of the comments below are meant to help me keep track of what I'm doing while using new equipment. Please disregard anything beyond Notes unless you find technicalities interesting.

Notes: I recorded this homily using a Roland Edirol R-09HR wave/mp3 recorder. An initial attempt to record using a cardoid microphone with traditional multimixer (with USB) didn't work. I will attempt a second homily using it later today when I can try a different microphone cable (XLR to XLR instead of the XLR to 1/4" phone plug).
